I be wondering what the best graphics card is for ATI and the best for NVIDIA and how they compare proformance wise. Money isn't an issue. Is SLI even that great?
Whats the best graphics card?
The best is nvidia right immediately. The nvidia GeForce Ultra is the best and if it on SLI u get concluding gaming experience.
sli will be when all the games pick up up.
Two card running is going to be better than one just stipulation the games to utilise the power available.
best nividia card at the moment is an 8800 ultra cost around lb500
Best ati is a 2900 xt at around lb240
The best card when value is concerned is the 8800GTX OC, the Ultra is roughly the GTX overclocked with a highly developed price tag.
SLi is single needed when you want MAX detail levels on 1080p and highly developed resolution. 1080p is 1920 x 1080 pixels = a little over 2 million pixels. If your display have 1680x1050 you don't need SLi.

The card i'm watching at the moment is the 8600 gts.
Supposidly its mortal touted as the next gen succesor to the 7600gt.
Its dx10 and is said to blow the 7600gt away, power consumption is said to be rougly matching but could hit 200w under nouns.
You can get the gt variation for about 50bucks smaller number but its nowhere near as virtuous.
Also its better than anything Ati have come up beside.

Check out the benchmarks and reviews.

What's the best symbolic card for window xp? (i.e no DirectX 10 support)?
What's the best symbolic card for window xp? (i.e no DirectX 10 support)?
Windows xp will run near any graphic card supported by your motherboard.
So the sound out is which is the best for your needs.
If you individual need it to use window, no gaming or stuff like that, lately buy the cheapest card that fit in your motherboard. You should check if you own AGP or a PCI-E slot.

Whats The Best Brand Of Memory?
As the topic say whats the best brand of memory you can buy in a wide-reaching way? Kingston, OCZ, Crucial, Corsair? These are the popular ones but, you may document more.
Whats The Best Brand Of Memory?
Patriot, Buffalo as well as A-Data are adjectives VERY good along next to the ones you mentioned, I would buy either minus hesitation.
.
To be faultlessly honest all of todays memory is remarkably good; where on earth the special concern comes in, is contained by overclocking, then you would bring back into memory timings and initial speed among other things.
you know what...the marks you mention adjectives are brand and I think if you wanna buy one, try first not to be remark and consequently be DDR2 model that is faster...

What's the best bang-for-the-buck Core 2 Duo processor?
You can present the name of the model (e.g E6400)
Plz don't bestow me links to hardware sites and tell me to compare.
What's the best bang-for-the-buck Core 2 Duo processor?
I would vote E4300 or E6300
The E4300 gets you into the Core 2 Duo inherited of processors for not a lot of money - tend to be about $130. Core 2's flay out all the other AMD's and Intel's so paying the money to bring into Core 2 Duo beats out other processor option.
The E6300 gets you into the faster bus speeds and bigger on chip cache which I devise is worth the extra few dollars to about $170.
Past those you are looking to pay envelope more and more money for higher clock speed contained by the lines but you could do that with a touch overclocking if you really wanted to.
If you want the most CPU power beforehand the price starts to spike I would look at the E6600, probably about 20-25% faster than E6300 and go for about $240 but once you get hold of to anything faster, prices jump deeply quickly and rite doesn't get proportionatly faster.
Personally I would jump with th E6300 but the other ones are honorable mentions.

Whats features of power supply should i use for the evga 8600 gt video card??
im thinking almost getting this video card and im not going for the most expensive power supply one thats around $30-40 but what kind of stuff should i be looking for one when buying one. im questioning my stuff on newegg. thanks please record details, it would be nice too if you list the top power supplies thats not much and dutiful and by the way im not running a gameing computer. thankfulness
Whats features of power supply should i use for the evga 8600 gt video card??
The 8600GT is using around 76 watts. Not much. It's basically a 7600 video card renamed next to directx10 support. So 450w and up will do fine. (Probably could run 300w and up but safer with a better power supply). Might want to compare more video cards first (according to what activity you're trying to play).

What's happen to HVD?
They promised it would be out by 2007, and TDK I believe have come up with their disk... does anyone use it? Too expensive? Why is it nowhere contained by the news?
What's happen to HVD?
Two technology that use the acronym HVD. First one is High-Definition Versatile Disc, the one I think you are referring to. It is used within Asia a lot, but elsewhere have been largely disregarded. Very few DVD players will support the format, therefore abundant people would own to get latest players to use it. HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are both better, therefore those are the two modern formats that have taken past its sell-by date, leaving HVD bringing up the rear.
The other is Holographicd Versatile Disc, which I doubt is what you are talking roughly because it is still a few years away from being middle-of-the-road. The are suppose to hold up to almost 4 Terabytes of information. The costs right now are still incredibly soaring, with players self around $15000, and discs over $100 a piece. You want see those become mainstream until prices become tolerable, which will be a while.
VHD was not a great nouns as a consumer product, but the system sold well for the applications discussed above. VHD have something of a cult following in Japan, and discs and players are both still collected
