I hold to choose between the Nvidia geforce 8600 GTS or the ATI radeon x1300 pro.
please help!
What clear card shall I choose?
I hope you aren't tomfoolery on this question, but assuming it is a serious interview, the 8600GTS hands down.
Why:
The 8600GTS have a 50% faster clock speed
It has more stream processors
It can accomodate faster information verbs
It has on chip big def DVD decoding
and is Direct X compatable.
The ATI 1300 is a slower, smaller number capable card running solitary Direct X9
If you were comparing the ATI 1650 (the 1300's big brother) it would be a better comparison, but still tumble in favor of the 8600GTS, and the ATI 1950 would tap out the 8600 for current games.
The ATI 1300 is much closer to the Nvidia 7300 or 8400 (a much lower model)
If the ATI Radeon X1300 is DirectX 10 compatible, go next to that. I know the GeForce 8600 is.
DirectX10 will make your system compatible beside newer games coming out soon and you'll have better graphics overall.
if you own enough money and want to own top-notch graphics, I'd say Nvidia 8600. It supports DirectX10 and is much more powerful than ATI X1300. On the other appendage, ATI X1300 is significantly cheaper (because it's significantly older btw), so if adjectives you want to do is using Microsoft Office and surfing the web, move about for the ATI X1300.
