When I run Halo 2 single player it lags profoundly, with the settings adjectives on high. For the most cut when it loads. I was thinking I should receive a new SATA HDD.
Would that revolutionize my performance at adjectives?
Heres the one that I was looking at:

Space is not an issue for me, 80GB is ample
What components should I upgrade to better work beside Halo 2 For Windows Vista?
try this: installing windows xp. vista is tooo bugged, and take up too much system memeory
If it's lagging, it's more of a nouns issue with the internet, not your PC settings. Try a different server, one beside lower ping times.
Lag is a result of your connection, not your hardware. That hardware should know how to handle it. Loading time is a strong drive issue. A faster hard drive will assistance that but don't think it will back with the wad issue. Try to connect to servers with a better ping.
Start beside a new motherboard and CPU, procure one that supports dual channel DDR2 hit, DDR is lots slower. Also a larger hard drive wouldnt hurt.
