You could do two things.



1. Close adjectives audio applications if open. If it is still gone down, then right click by where on earth your clock is and you will see task administrator on the list. Click o n it and surrounded by the screen that pops up, click on the depiction tab at the top. Look for wmplayer.exe or realplay.exe and hit end process. The audio should work in a minute.



2. If u are still having trouble, the fastest is to restart and this will release your audio driver.



3. Make sure your volume is turned on(I know this sounds stupid)
i have the same problem try un-pluging the other application later put the speakers in.
