can u buy these direct?if i be to buy too at a time would this help

What is the cheapest route to buy a laptop desktop graphics card?

Usually E-bay.

http://www.e-bay.com
You can buy most component parts from dab.com

Dunno if you get a discount for buying two though
Two is usually not adequate to get a discount. Two hundred possibly.

Search online, but I prefer to get them from a legit supplier like www.tigerdirect.com
cheepest would be from freecycle within which people grant stuff they don't want away for free instead of throwing it away.
www.pricewatch.com
The very cheapest path is to use someone else's money. However, barring that, you have to shop around. ebay, buy.com, cdw, lots of virtuous online sources. You could also attend 'swap meets' or local shows, which may have the components you want at thoroughly low prices. How important is the warranty to you? What if you bought a 'nonreturnable' and it didn't work? what's the most you would spend on it? that will provide you a feel for pricing and when you've gotten other.
You might find one online or at a Flea Market.

But how can you know if it's any good?

You're better rotten to go to a reliable pusher;

someone who can give you a guarantee.

Cheap is a relative word;

do you anticipate only up-front or down the road?
If you turn to Pricegrabber.co you can look for a video card and it will compare retail prices so you will always buy from the online retailer at the lowest price.
