The general entity people use PCI-E for is graphics cards. So I'm going to assume that is to say what you're going for here. You most likely enjoy an AGP slot on your motherboard. (If not perhaps you should look into purchasing a topical computer, you've gotta have something ancient.) Take the graphics card spinal column to the store and ask them for the same card but near an AGP interface. It should be about impossible to tell apart price.
