What's a therman grease? (PC)?

Thermal grease, thermal fasten or thermal goop is a semi-solid substance that is applied between the processor cover (or heatspreader) and the heatsink (or cooler) to enhance warmness transfer from processor to heatsink (then to air). The popular premium thermal paste are Artic Silver 5 and Zalman STG-1. The regular ones are mostly silicone grease.
It is a substance that goes between a processor or glorious temp computer chip and the heat sink to assist contained by thermal transfer. You may hold seen it ,, it usually is a white gummy grease and is to be used very sparingly.. basically enough to backing heat verbs.
