What is the need of cache memory within a easier said than done drive?

I own to write a one page paper roughly hard drives. So what is the stress of cache memory?

What is the need of cache memory within a easier said than done drive?

The more data surrounded by the cache, the quicker you can access information you recently access again. 16mb is typical these days, 32mb is preferable, if available.
I'm not wiritng your composition for you, I already went to conservatory and wrote enough papers...sorry :)
