Whats better for my comp?

Whats better? 512mb ddr400 pc3200, or 768mb but individual ddr333 and i think pc2700 but not sure.

Whats better for my comp?

768mb will brand name a bigger difference. We're not talking going on for a new Intel eXtreme dual core that requirements the best memory here.

I have an ancient Athlon XP+ PC that I use as a file server / torrent domestic device (it runs 24/7). I had one 512mb stick of pc2700 and stumbled across a FREE 256mb stick of pc2100. I tossed it surrounded by and it's much faster with the supplementary 256mb of RAM, even though it brought the overall memory speed down to pc2100 levels.

More RAM will other give better conduct unless you have a high-end system that requirements that fastest memory to run properly.
512 ddr400, faster at processing information
Always go next to the fastest you can get.
