What is the floppy addrress?

within a computer system

What is the floppy addrress?

A:
Drive A:
click start, go to Run and type A:\

minus quotes, this will open the floppy disk drive
The primary one (if you lone have one floppy drive) is A:\

and the subsidiary (the second floppy drive if you have one) is B:\
Drive 'A' is the Floppy which is discontinued for sometime contained by computers, although a portable USB Drive A is available in travel case someone wants to use floppy.

Currently family are using portable USB flash drive to store/transfer and save facts which is a big replacement of Drive A.
The port is usually 0x3F0-3F7H. If you are talking around windows or dos, next the drive is usually A: for the first floppy, b: for the second. On linux, the Floppy device is usually /dev/fd<x>, where x is the number. It can mounted anywhere. Not sure around mac, but I would imagine OS X is alike as linux.
