What is the principal mission of a motherboard within a PC?

its simply like the heart surrounded by our body
the mother board transfers all the information thruout the together computer
Basically it connects all the components, and moves information and signals through out the computer to adjectives the different parts.
It sort of connects everything. It Contains your Processor, and everything that connects it to your RAM, Hard Drive, and Video Cards.



Your MotherBoard contains your Processor, RAM Memory, Interfaces with your Video Card, and is Wired to ALL of your Hardware inside of your PC. It is the Most Important division of your Computer!!



It Manages the Communication between your Processor and the Rest of your Hareware!!



It also has your BIOS PROM, NorthBridge, SouthBridge, Onboard Sound, Video, ATA/SATA, your Codec's, Front Side Bus, RAM Slots, PCI Slots, AGP/PCI-Express Slots and adjectives!!
