What is the right processor for the motherboard asus P5B-VM DO?

The P5B VM series are socket 775 base and support many types of processor,but it really depends on your budget and what you use it for.

If you are not into giant end gaming etc afterwards a Intel Celeron D with lawfully budget priced cpu's ($60-100) would be ok,or if money is no object you can dance for core duo processors.In the mid range a Pentium 4/Pentium D cpu would be a angelic choice.Check out http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&...
it depends on how much you want to spend...but, I'd put a e6420

in it, apposite processor, midrange price, good speed, unbelievably overclockable...if you wanted to turn cheap the e43xx's, if you got money to burn e68xx sorry no support for the quad on that board..

Best Bang for your Buck is probably the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600. Mid priced and will compliment the MBoard well. Good choice of board by the approach, probably the best mATX on the market.
