What would happen if I uninstalled my ps2 multimedia baby grand?

I own a dual desktop for work and have to use my f1 and f2 buttons to enter codes. but next to the multimedia keyboard it brings up different option. just want to get sure that if i uninstalled the keyboard it will still work as a makeshift keyboard.

Uninstall the software that come with your upright. The keyboard will work as a supporting keyboard. Ps/2 devices are automatically agreed by Windows.
