What does formating a CD/DVD as a UDF penny-pinching?

I'm trying to copy metaphors to a CD-RW. I don't want to finalize the disk. I'm not using any software to burn the disk. Please help!!

What does formating a CD/DVD as a UDF penny-pinching?

Different burning softwares use different formats which are various a times incompatible with other formats, which mode that a CD/DVD burnt surrounded by a particular format might not be readable surrounded by a system using a different format.



UDF or Universal Drive Format is a format readable by all formats or systems. To put it simply, it does not own a compatibility issue with any formats and is readable througout.
