What is the deferent between window xp and window professenal?
What is the deferent between window xp and window professenal?
Windows XP Home edition can be network, but only on a workgroup type lattice (file and printer sharing)
Windows XP can be used in a domain type (active directory) Windows Network.
I'm guessing you be going to Windows XP Home and Windows XP Professional. XP Pro has some easier network stuff, and a few more optional goodies, but for the average user XP Home is fine. (When they first come out, XP Pro was method better, but not anymore.)
Generally speaking, XP Pro is more internet secure than XP Home
they are both VERY similar. Windows Home XP allows for one to six ethnic group to be users on the computer. They are all computer administrator. Windows Professional allows for many users, hundreds even, and the one computer administrator can grant rights to each of the society on the computer. if you want it for your house or dorm, i'd use windows home edition because everyone have the same rights.

I give attention to you mean xp home and xp prof. Home is base for personal pc's. Its like vista home supporting. Prof is like Vista Business which is base for businesses.
